Today, I developed my own Twitter-style news feed, which you can see now. I added a DNS record to my website, agronomy4future.com, and the current address is today.agronomy4future.com. Do I know how to code? No. Did I major in programming? No. But I developed my own platform by collaborating with Claude. I simply shared my ideas, communicated back and forth, and finally made it happen! Before ChatGPT, we had to learn computer languages. Now, AI understands natural language and codes for us, which means the barrier to entry has vanished. While programming majors still need deep technical knowledge, the wall for non-majors has been torn down. We are living in an era where the barriers to specialized fields are disappearing. In the past, creating a feed like this required hiring developers; now, that gatekeeping is gone. It’s actually a bit scary to realize my own specialty might be next. How should we live in this uncertain era?
